(Frequently Asked Questions)

  • I want to make an exterior change to my home. What do I need to do to have that approved?
    First of all you need a Change Request Form. That is available on-line, so just follow the links, or click here. Next, you need to submit that request to Morris Property Management, and we will see that the Design Review committee receives that for review. Make sure to include all pertinent information e.g. dimensions, placement of addition relative to the house (a map is very helpful), and any other information that will help the modifications committee approve your request. The approval process takes about thirty (30) days from the time we receive your request, so once you submit your request you will receive a confirmation that we received the request, and a letter of either approval or denial after thirty (30) days.
     

  • Who are the board members, and how do I contact them?

  • When are the board meetings, and am I allowed to attend?
    Homeowners who would like to address the board on specific issues must email the Board at board@coolspringstn.org or send a letter to Morris Property Management a minimum of 48 hours prior to the scheduled meeting, stating the purpose of the request.  Time will be scheduled for these homeowners to address the Board at the beginning of the regular Board meeting, which usually starts at 7 PM.  After addressing the Board, homeowners will be asked to leave, as the working session is for Board members and committee chairmen only.  Minutes of the Board meetings are maintained at our management company’s office, Morris Property Management, Inc., 413 Welshwood Drive, STE 200, Nashville, TN 37211.  A summary of the minutes will be posted on our website. 
     

  • Where is Equity Property Management located?

  • I want to rent the clubhouse. How do I go about doing that?
    First, what you need to do is call John Hensley at 833-5117 and he will see if the date that you want is available for rent. The cost to rent the clubhouse is $85.00, and there is a $200.00 security deposit that is refunded if the clubhouse is in the same condition as it was before your party. Any other questions about this can be directed to Rodney Reston.

     

  • I want to start paying by direct deposit, so that I can reduce my quarterly dues from $195.00 to $165.00. How do I do that?
    There is one of two possibilities. First, you can request an Automatic Draft form. Fill that out and return it to Morris Property Management along with a voided check, and your dues will now be automatically deducted from your checking account on the first (1st) of the month (quarterly dues are collected in January, April, July, and October). The other option is paying the dues yearly in advance. Send a check for $660.00 at the beginning of the year, or you can pay the remainder of the dues any time during the year in advance to receive the deduction for the remaining quarters of the year.
